Describe the rock cycle and three primary classifications of rocks in 50 to100 words.

There are 3 primary classifications of rocks. Igneous, Sedimentary, and Metamorphic. You get folded rock when sedimentary rock is pressured, horizontal rock is caused by rushing water, and faulted rock happens by earth’s movement on both sides.
The rock cycle is: 1 weathering, 2 erosion/transportation, 3 deposition, 4 burial/ lithification, 5 deformation/metemorphism, 6 melting/ solidification, and 7 uplift. The rock cycle is very important, and useful. Some rocks go through all of the cycle, while others only go through parts of the cycle.
