TOUR

In history class, we’ve been on a world tour. We have learned about Mesopotamia, Asia Minor, Early Greeks and Ancient Africa. We were asked to write about our favorite part of the world tour.

My favorite part of the world tour was Asia Minor. My favorite part of Asia Minor was Phoenicia. I like Phoenicia for a couple different reasons. One of the reasons I like Phoenicia is because their name sounds cool. I also like it because they were the first ones to create the alphabet, and the alphabet is very helpful.

A couple fun facts about Phoenicia are:

1. they were great sea traders and merchants

2. they traded and interacted a lot with Israel.
