“The Railway Children” was a good book. It had moments that I was sad, and times that I was so happy for the children. One of my favorite parts of the book was when they saved the train. If you have read this book before, you know this part is exciting, but also scary. This part is one of my favorites because of the children’s attitude towards saving the train and the people on it. I love how the children are set on helping others even though it could put them in danger. If I had to choose one of the three children to be my favorite character, I would choose Roberta because she is always loving and caring. She always thinks about other people before herself; even when she was writing the old gentleman to bring her father back home, she did it for her, but also her mother and her family. Despite all the exciting adventures, I didn’t like some of the cliff-hangers Nesbit left. Over all, this book was very interesting, and if I had the option, I would read it again.
