God’s general revelation is every where, but it can be hard to recognize it if you aren’t paying attention to it. God is working in our lives even when we don’t realize it. For example, today my laptop was at 5%, and I didn’t have a way to plug it in right then. I was doing my homeschool stuff, and I really needed to finish, so I tried to do my work quickly. As I was doing my work, I noticed that the percentage was switching from 3% to 4%. It kept doing that for a while, until it hit 2%, 1%, then 0%. Even though I didn’t finish all I needed to do, I got a lot done. After it charged, I finished the little bit of school I had left just in time for dinner. Now, you might think that God didn’t do anything here, but he did. He made it to where I could get enough done so I didn’t have to stop in the middle of my work (again) for dinner.

Do I ignore God’s revelation like the ancient civilizations? I have to admit sometimes I do. To be honest, it can be easier to ignore God than it is to follow his directions and do what you don’t want to do. Though it may be hard, it will pay off in the end.
