An easy dog toy to make yourself

English lesson 40. Write about something you like to do using sequential order.

The thing I chose to write about was how to make dog toys. I don’t have a dog, but my brother does (read my post called Hayze) and sometimes he forgets Hayze’s toys at home. I made dog toys the other day so that Hayze would always have toys to play with at my house. All you need to make these cute toys are old shirts and scissors that cut fabric well.

There are many different ways to make dog toys, and honestly, I just cut the fabric here and there, braided it in some places, and there’s your toy. For this essay, I will tell how to make one of many dog toys. A tug toy. Now, you may be thinking “What’s so special about that? Why should I read this?” but this dog toy is different. It should be strong and durable if you make it correctly, and It’s supper cute.

For the first step, You cut the front (or back) of the shirt off from the neck and sleeves. Next, you just cut that into 3 equal pieces. Section 1, section 2, and section 3. Now, you take section 2, and cut it into 3 mini sections. Braid those mini sections together. After that, you take section 1 and 3 and roll them up. After all of those steps are completed, you take all of the sections and tie them in a knot at the top. Then you braid. Once you’ve braided almost all of it, you tie a knot at the end too.

There’s your dog toy. You may make adjustments to it if you would like, or you could leave it just how it is. I hope you enjoyed this post as much as your dog will enjoy the toy! Thanks for reading!
