Hello to everyone who is reading this! I hope you’re having a fantastic day. I’ve decided to do something crazy (for someone like me, that is) next week. Read on to see what I’m going to do.
So here lately, I’ve been thinking of how I’m a night owl. No, I don’t usually go to sleep at midnight, but I don’t wake up (normally) until eight of nine so I’m definatly not an early bird. I was thinking about how if I was an early bird, I could get a lot more stuff done. I mean, just think about it. Of course it depends on the person, but for a lot of people, they get more stuff done in the mornings after they get over their grogginess. You plan out the day before your kids get up, you clean the house before you go to work, you get a head start on your school, etc. That (and more reasons) is why I’ve decided to try…
To wake up early!!! It might not sound like a lot to you, but it is for me. The challenge I’ve put myself up to is to wake up at 5 or 6 am (I haven’t decided when, yet), go for a little jog to wake myself up, and then start my day. This way I’m not only getting a head start to my day, I will also (hopefully) be getting into shape! The challenge right now is to do it for a week, but I might make it a month. What do you guys think I should do? I am super pumped for this, at least for now, and I will write a little about every day! I will put how I did and everything in one blog post for the first week, and then post it after that week. This way, you can decide wether you want to do the same challenge or not.
In this paragraph, I will tell you my planed schedule for this adventure. This is set for 6 am, but if I choose to get up at five, I will set the whole thing back an hour. (This is only for mornings and nights. Not the middle of the day because that differs too much) 6:00– wake up 6:15– get dressed to run 6:30– go for a jog/run 7:15 (or so)- eat if hungry. After that, start school
8:00 (PM)- start winding down (screens off) Get ready for bed 9:00– get in bed, start reading some books before 10:00– lights out dreaming good dreams
I hope you will stay tuned to see how it goes and maybe even do it with me! Remember: “Be yourself. Everyone else is taken”
