My Favorite Hobby

In English, I am supposed to write an essay on my favorite thing to do in my free time. For this first week of classes, he will give a writing assignment every day to get everyone into the practice of writing. He said that we do not have to post these smaller essays, but I’m posting this one so that you can learn more about me and what I like to do.

I like to do many things in my free time. I love to read, take walks, swing on our porch swing, and spend extra time with my family. (as long as they’re not grumpy of course) 😉 Though I like to do many different things, the assignment was to pick my favorite hobby, so I would have to go with dog training.

I have a couple posts on my blog about dogs and that I like to train them, but I can’t talk about dogs enough, so I’m writing another one. We got our first dog on June 30, 2019. Starting about November of that year, I was looking for a new thing to learn, and I thought that it would be really cool to teach our dog, Hayze some really neat and complex tricks. I was looking at youtube channels to learn how to train him, and I found the channel “Dog Training By Kikopup”. It became my favorite dog training youtube channel, and it still is today.

I started out just wanting to teach Hayze some cool tricks, but I ended up training him a lot more. I have off leash trained Hayze, he walks on a loose leash when I take him for walks, and he of course has learned a lot of cool tricks.

If you are having trouble with your dog, or you just want to teach him/her something new, I strongly recommend checking out the channel “Dog Training By Kikopup”. She did not ask me to say this. I haven’t ever talked to her. I just think she’s one of the best dog trainers out there.
